Fact: I am a scorpio. Fact: I am born on the same date that Ms. Vilma Santos - Recto was born Fact: I used to tell some of my friends that I think I was meant to become a celebrity one day because I share the same birthday as the Philippines' Star for all Seasons. Anyways, this year was a bit more special for me as I celebrated my birthday - rather a bit lavishly though not everyone was present - with the family. First stop. Thanksgiving. I insisted that we drop by a chapel in tagaytay and, since I was the one behind the wheel, we did. And then,  Second Stop. Food trip. we went to Nuvali for a simple, hassle-free feast. After the meal, we decided to go around and see what new things where to see. We hopped on the electric shuttle-thing(I forgot the correct term, haha). ********* I think one of the best things that happened to me last November was that I was able to travel and visit Davao City and General Santos. It was on off

The adventure of two bears

This will be my latest post. After so many months of not having been able to post anything, I finally found time and inspiration. I saw a friend of mine - one who goes by the twitter name @elyzabear - during Manila FAME. She asked, nay begged, me to go with her to the RX booth last friday. Unfortunately, we were not able to push through because she was not able to get a copy of the TMR Book. Nonetheless, we decided to push through today and it was a good call for our part.  There we were at the 17th floor of Strata 2000 and, having passed through the famed manong guards with relative ease, we braced ourselves for whatever will happen. We got shy as we walked towards the booth. And why not? We were starstruck seeing Chico and Delle. More so, we were also starstruck when we finally saw the people behind the names we hear on The Morning Rush.  It was nice meeting everyone.  Of course, though shy, we did have our photo op with Chico, Delle, and the other Rushers - and we g

These are photos taken using my mobile phone in the past few months. The first photo is the MoA eye (if I'm not mistaken with the term) and the second is a rose which I saw on the sidewalk vendor near the office.

Last weekend, I found myself saying "buti na lang dala ko camera ko! (good thing I brought my camera)" as I found myself in two places that I haven't been before. Place no. 1: A chapel along a route to Trece Martires City, Cavite. The Santo Bambino Chapel is a community church  located inside Cerca dela Paraiso or as my mom calls the place: Echaus. It's a simple and calm place. Place no. 2: Paradizoo. I have heard of the place before and I honestly thought that this was the same place as Tagaytay Residence Inn. Today I was corrected by the circumstances. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough for me to get inside and shoot - poor me. I will be back! (insert evil laugh). And I almost forgot, Paradizoo is located in Mendez, Cavite. I forgot the exact name of the place(barangay and stuff like that) - again, my apologies. Check out the albino water buffalo.

This is somewhat, sort of, umm... late. I mentioned in one post that I had a weekend where I had the chance to take some photos. Last May, me and some office friends went to Los BaƱos for a weekend getaway-slash-bonding. What I love and -kind of- not like at the same was the water which was warmer than preferred. But it was still enjoyable since it was a weekend spent with friends. And so, here are some of the photos. (and look at that nice cloud! haha)
