one from so many

Image
yes.. this is about one of so many days spent unwinding in Tagaytay. It has been so long since I last held my DSLR and shot images so I was raring to go at it on this particular one - the down side? I'm craving for more shoots afterwards... argh. anyways.. here's a little something for you, loyal reader/viewer who checks this site. Just to add. The ladies in the shots below are not related to me in any way - I have no idea who they are. For the first one below, that girl is actually taking a shot of another girl taking a shot of something.  oh the things we do to get that much coveted "perfect" shot. haha.

InstagRan

since I'm more mobile than before, I haven't found the time to post anything new yet (or sched a shoot for that matter) and so, for the meantime, I'll let you guys have a peak into the things I get into or the things I see when I'm out and about... check the sidebar for the all new Insta-Ranithepooh aka instagRan feed. enjoy! it's also the same one you see below. =)

Mula Aparri...

Image
For those who grew up watching the TVJ noontime show Eat Bulaga, those two words would most likely have been read with a tune in mind. These are some of the snaps from a recent trip up north - WAY north. Aparri, to me, was a town with a very early curfew. By 7 or 8 in the evening, the town seems to fall into sleep with only a few people still awake.  For the most part, we were at Lyceum of Aparri for our event. Apparently, the rattan's fruit is edible. I saw this somewhere in Nueva Vizcaya but hesitated to taste it - I'll save that for next time.

innocent acquaintance

This is one shot that I took in November 2012 while me and my family was meeting my aunt over at SM MoA. The moment was so random and unexpected but the shot turned out to be fine(or cute) for me. However, it is only now that I was able to give it a title/caption - thus the title. The kid on the right is my niece, and I have no idea whose kid the one on the left is.

finally... Legazpi

Image
I gone to Legazpi City in Bicol a couple of times before without my camera. Stupid me, right? Nah, I was just too keen on traveling light back then. For the third trip of mine, I decided to bring my slr. Unfortunately, Mayon was completely overcast by clouds brought by the monsoon. Maybe a fouth trip would do the trick. In the meantime, here are some of my raw shots during my recent trip to Legazpi City.

mobile again

I confess. I haven't had much of the time and energy to sort my old photos. Luckily, yesterday's rain affected me quite oddly. I decided to sort some old photos and found these. These are just so random that I don't know anything else to say. >.<

That sums up what I think will be the theme of my post. Just a few snaps from the few moments I had on a Maundy Thursday.

moments in Iloilo and Bacolod

While trying to find the words to begin this blog post, I realized that these two places are the first ones I visited in the Visayas. I totally forgot that fact while I was there. Then again... Foodie paradise (or something near that). If you ask me, that would be the words to sum up what would be my impression of both places. Delicious food in surprising portions. Now, I look forward to more trips in the usual and unusual destinations in the Visayas.
