These are photos taken using my mobile phone in the past few months. The first photo is the MoA eye (if I'm not mistaken with the term) and the second is a rose which I saw on the sidewalk vendor near the office.

Last weekend, I found myself saying "buti na lang dala ko camera ko! (good thing I brought my camera)" as I found myself in two places that I haven't been before. Place no. 1: A chapel along a route to Trece Martires City, Cavite. The Santo Bambino Chapel is a community church  located inside Cerca dela Paraiso or as my mom calls the place: Echaus. It's a simple and calm place. Place no. 2: Paradizoo. I have heard of the place before and I honestly thought that this was the same place as Tagaytay Residence Inn. Today I was corrected by the circumstances. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough for me to get inside and shoot - poor me. I will be back! (insert evil laugh). And I almost forgot, Paradizoo is located in Mendez, Cavite. I forgot the exact name of the place(barangay and stuff like that) - again, my apologies. Check out the albino water buffalo.

This is somewhat, sort of, umm... late. I mentioned in one post that I had a weekend where I had the chance to take some photos. Last May, me and some office friends went to Los BaƱos for a weekend getaway-slash-bonding. What I love and -kind of- not like at the same was the water which was warmer than preferred. But it was still enjoyable since it was a weekend spent with friends. And so, here are some of the photos. (and look at that nice cloud! haha)

one of the, if not THE most, highlighted event on the month of May in the Philippines is the Flores de Mayo - a month-long celebration in honor of the Virgin Mary. Such an event presents itself as a great opportunity to take photographs and I was aware of it. I tried my best to document the Sagala procession that happens on the culminating day, the last Sunday of May.  These photos were taken in Maragondon, Cavite - my hometown. It was a great run and I enjoyed taking photos. Now, I'm looking forward to doing a similar thing in other events.

Borrowed time

The past few weeks have been simply too demanding that I wasn't able to give more time to photography. Still, there were days when I was able to take a snapshot or two. Indeed, a way will reveal itself if you have the right amount of desire and will to pursue something - then again, that phrase was too melodramatic, don't you think?  Last weekend, there was was an opportunity for me to take photos but that will be the story for another post. In the meantime, here are more random shots. Enjoy!

This year's Visita Iglesia has got to be the longest. It spanned 3 days even though we only went to seven churches within Cavite. We stopped by 1 church on Holy Wednesday, visited 2 more churches on Maundy Thursday, and went to 5 more churches on Good Friday. It was a more laid back one but spiritual nonetheless. And since I was the designated driver, it was a challenge to take photos in a very short span of time. Then again, taking photos is not the primary goal in this activity so its all good. Oh, I almost forgot. This year is the first time we went to a place called Tierra de Maria. A little place  somewhere near DAP-Tagaytay and Picnic Grove. Its a little place where a spiritual healer does healing sessions(not sure of the term and I forgot the name of the healer, sorry).
