one of the, if not THE most, highlighted event on the month of May in the Philippines is the Flores de Mayo - a month-long celebration in honor of the Virgin Mary. Such an event presents itself as a great opportunity to take photographs and I was aware of it. I tried my best to document the Sagala procession that happens on the culminating day, the last Sunday of May. 







These photos were taken in Maragondon, Cavite - my hometown. It was a great run and I enjoyed taking photos. Now, I'm looking forward to doing a similar thing in other events.

Throwback: of Sun and Sand
